Vangtawng Falls

Vantawng Falls- the falls that beats your rhythm

The highest waterfall in the state and the 13th highest in the country, the Vantawng Waterfalls is one of the most mesmerizing waterfalls of the North East. Vantawng falls are the pride of Mizoram and one of its prime attractions. The waterfall which is located 100 km away from the capital city of Aizawl is a gem in its own right. Tucked in between the verdant valleys with thick greenery around the waterfall seems like a river of white milk from distance.

The Vantawng Falls is located 5 kilometers south of Thenzawl in Serchhip district in the state of Mizoram which is also known as the Handloom Hub of Mizoram. It is the highest uninterrupted waterfall in Mizoram.

Vangchhia - The Great Entrance-way

VANGCHHIA- THE GREAT ENTRACEWAY

Vangchhia is a village in the Champhai district of Mizoram. It is located in the Khawbung R.D. Block. The 171 Menhir stones in the village became Mizoram's first protected archaeological site in 2012. It holds ancient graves. 200meters long water pavilion is found there which is the key to lost civilization. It is also believed to be one of the largest Necropolis sites in the world.

Tuirihiau Falls

TUIRIHIAU- Take a peak from behind the waterfall

The Tuirihiau Falls is located 5 kilometers south of Thenzawl in Serchhip district in the river Vanva in the state of Mizoram. It takes around 3 Hrs. to reach from Aizawl.

Tuirihiau Falls Khawhthla or Tuirihiau Falls Falls is the most spectacular of all the waterfalls and cascades in the fast flowing rivers of Mizoram. The uniqueness of this waterfall is that you can see from behind as it caves in behind the fall like an arc.

Biate is a census town in Serchhip district in the state of Mizoram. Biate town has been selected as the cleanest town in Mizoram and Northeast.

Reiek Peak- A Trekker’s Delight

Reiek is a mountain and tourist spot 29 km from Aizawl, Mizoram. It rests at an elevation of 1465 meters overlooking Aizawl and offers a view of the surrounding valleys and hills. On a clear day the plains of Bangladesh can be seen from the top of the hill. People visiting Reiek must do trek to reach the top and share the scenic beauty of those quiet hills.

Aizawl

Aizawl is the capital of Mizoram. With a population of 293,416, it is the largest city in the state. It is also the center of administration containing all the important government offices, state assembly house and civil secretariat.
